Music Monday : Marin Musicians Injured by Wrong Way Driver

Apologies for the late "Music Monday" post (usually in time for Monday morning Post.)
Two Marin musicians, Danny Uzilevsky and Eric Smyth, were injured on Sunday in a serious car crash.  A drunk driver,  headed the wrong way on 101, collided with their car as they were returning home from an "Elephant Listening Project" show in Cotati.
The wrong way driver, arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving, has two prior convictions. An online donation page has been set up by a friend.

Homestead connection : Danny Uzilevsky plays with Homestead native Jonathan Korty in several musical projects, including "Chrome Johnson" and "Honey Dust" - plus a regular Tuesday night jam slot at 19 Broadway in Fairfax, known as "Kortuzday."
I've had the pleasure of jamming with Danny a few times, he's a very kind and talented young man - so hard to believe he is in ICU right now, but the latest update from the hospital states he will be OK with time and lots of hospital care. Sending out our best wishes for a swift and complete recovery.
