Flashback Friday : May 27th, 2012
I notice that there are not many signs on Evergreen Avenue during this election season. That is, unless you count those illegally placed in the right of way at Ethel. I only placed one flyer on the bulletin board at Evergreen and Melrose and someone removed it and placed another flyer there.
It's really interesting, politics.
If we don't pay attention and get more involved in the process. we can bet that someone else will be.
I look at it this way - I have never aspired to hold political office, but I care about people and I care about this planet that sustains us.
History has a way of repeating itself. If you want more of the same, vote for one of the politically connected candidates.
If you want someone at Civic Center who will represent the interests of the citizens and ensure that our community plan guidelines are upheld, vote for me.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
